Guidelines: Talent Show Participation Guidelines

Online Registration Only
Registrations will be accepted exclusively online till 28 February, 2025. Please submit program registrations before 28 deadline, late submissions will be refuted.

Group Cinematic Dance Competition Rules & Guidelines:

Eligibility: Open to all, aged 13 yrs and above from the Malayali community in Ottawa & NCR
Team Composition: Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 performers.
Performance Duration: Performance duration must be under 5 minutes, exceeding 5 minutes duration may negatively impact group score
Music Submission: Groups must submit their final audio tracks before 12 March, 2025. Kindly ensure tracks have no offensive content.
Judging Criteria: Performances will be scored on the following criteria:
- Choreography and creativity
- Synchronization and timing
- Stage presence and expressions
- Costume and overall performance
- Audience engagement
General Rules:
- All performances must be respectful of cultural and community values.
- Teams must report backstage at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled performance.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

PHOTOGRAPHY By registering you are also acknowledging that Videos and Photographs will be taken during the event and published on the Malayali Association website and other social media. If you do not wish to have your images published, please inform the Committee member.
